Ring Size Guide
Most of our rings don't need a size at all.
Ten of the twelve rings we make are one size, adjustable. The band opens at the back, so the same ring fits a slim index finger and a wider ring finger — roughly a UK J through to a UK Q. If not knowing your size is what's been stopping you, it needn't.
For the one ring that does come in fixed sizes, and for anyone who simply likes to know, everything below will get you there in about two minutes.
Adjusting a one-size ring
Hold the ring in both hands and ease the two ends of the band apart to loosen, or together to tighten. Work a millimetre at a time and never force it — you're persuading the metal, not bending it.
Two habits will keep it looking new for years. Adjust as rarely as you can, because it's repeated flexing that eventually tires a band. And always hold the plain part of the band, never the decorated section — pressing on set stones is how they work loose.
The Ligne Slim Band
This one is a solid band, so it comes in three sizes. The numbers on our size selector — 16, 17, 18 — are the inner diameter in millimetres. That's a different system from the letters you'll know from a UK jeweller, so here's the translation:

Measure at home in two minutes
You need a strip of paper about a centimetre wide, a pen and a ruler. No printer, no string, no guesswork.
| 1 | Wrap the strip around the base of the finger you'll wear the ring on. Snug, but loose enough to turn. |
| 2 | Mark the point where the paper overlaps itself. |
| 3 | Lay it flat and measure to your mark in millimetres. That number is your circumference. |
| 4 | Find the closest row in the chart below. |
If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure the knuckle as well and go with the larger of the two — the ring has to travel over it.

Three things that move the answer
Fingers are not fixed objects, which is why people so often measure once and get it wrong.
The hour. Fingers swell through the day. Measure late afternoon or evening, never first thing.
The temperature. Cold hands measure smaller. Come in from outside, warm up, then measure.
The hand. Your dominant hand runs about half a size larger. Measure the one that will actually wear it.
Caught between two sizes? Take the larger one. A ring that sits a little loose can move to another finger. A ring that's too tight has nowhere to go.
